Positions Reassigned At Aurora Services by Dan Byler Justin Geigley, Layout Editor (left) and Jerry Hostetler, News Editor, at The Hometown Treasure. Jerry Hostetler has been named News Editor for The Hometown Treasure. Jerry is a 1975 graduate of Westview High School and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Telecommunications in 1979. Right after college, Jerry worked for several radio stations doing news, sports broadcasting and as an on-air personality. In 1984 he came back to Shipshewana to work with his father in the family business, Hostetler Pharmacy. After selling the pharmacy in 2009, Jerry became more involved with LaGwana Printing, where he is one of four owners. While continu- ing to be in charge of the day to day operation of Hostetler’s Stores, he also started writing some news articles for The Hometown Treasure. Meanwhile, more and more duties were being assigned to Justin Geigley, editor of The Hometown Treasure. In an effort to best utilize the talents of both of them, the decision was made to realign Justin’s duties to Layout Editor. This allows more time for him to wear his “Information Technology” hat. He is in charge of keeping all the computers, server, and network up and running at Aurora Services, Inc. In addition, he is currently working with the owner to develop a new database program to better handle the growing number of customers and ventures. Jerry and his wife Fran live in rural Shipshewana, and have four children. Eric is a graduate of Vincennes University and is living in Peoria, Illinois. Matt is a senior at Marian University in Indianapolis. Nicholas and Stephanie are seniors at Westview High School. Justin has been with Aurora Services for almost three years. He is a 2006 graduate of Westview High School and lives in Topeka with his wife Erin and son Zayne.
