The LCYC was established in 2006 to serve the youth of LaGrange County. The organization sponsors youth and family programs designed to promote positive self-esteem, provide diverse learning opportunities, real world experiences, connections to the community, family values, healthy lifestyles and opportunities to engage their imagination. Michelle Myers, Director of the LCYC, feels the Kite Clinic and Festival will offer families the opportunity to experience a fun, economical activity that will promote outdoor recreation, while experiencing an “old-fashioned” past time in a new and exciting way. She stated, “Families will go away with not only a kite of their own, but a new enthusiasm for a healthy, affordable, family friendly activity.” LaGrange County Library LaGrange-Main Branch Temporarily in the old Jayco Building on SR 9 North Winter Hours (Labor-Memorial Day) Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 8:00 Friday & Saturday 9:00 - 5:00 Phone: 260-463-2841 Topeka Branch 133 North Main Street Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:30 - 6:00 Wednesday, Saturday 8:30 - 3:00 Phone: 260-593-3030 Prickly's Story Time Shipshewana Branch Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:30 - 6:00 Wednesday, Saturday 8:30 - 3:00 Phone: 260-768-7444 Book Buddies Parents, help your young child with number skills! After 17 years their marriage has started to fade and wear a little thin, even as their old shop bustles with the energy of the customers who seek refuse from the particular dilemmas ... Behind the cherry cheesecakes, vanilla ice-creams and chocolate cappuccinos are the stirrings of a revolution that will redefine lives, heal troubled hearts and rock the very foundation of the troubled tea house.
