FFA Students Receive State Honors
Two Westview FFA students, Parker Fought and Nelson Grate, garnered first place
in the State FFA Small Engines
Contest Saturday, April 27. The
contest was held at Central
Nine Area Vocational School in
Greenwood, Indiana. Fought
and Grate finished first out of
twelve teams and they both
received $10,000 scholarships
from Ohio Technical College in
Cleveland, Ohio. They demonstrated skills in tool and
parts identification, manual
reading, customer relations,
engine problem solving skills
and engine assembly. They are
coached by Westview FFA advisor Paul Baker.
