My husband is a Math teacher. He
teaches math that’s beyond balancing
the monthly budget. His world consists of numbers and letters that don’t
make sense to me. But I know enough
to understand that in higher math, the
letter “N” has power.
Recently, I was reminded of this
principle when I misspelled the word
“invincible.” I inadvertently left out an
“N”, which changed the entire meaning of the word. Instead of describing
something, “too powerful to be defeated or overcome,” it described something, “unable to be seen, not visible
to the eye.” I had spelled “invisible”
instead of “invincible” and marveled at
