The health of our heart affects the health of our home. Everyone struggles physically, spiritually, and emotionally at various seasons of our lives. It’s normal. It’s important we treat our spiritual and emotional health just as we would our physical health. Building a routine for emotional health is as necessary as physical exercise. Talking with trustworthy friends, family members, pastors or counselors is important in maintaining good health for soul and spirit when we are struggling. As a community, caring for another’s emotional and behavioral health in non-judgmental ways is crucial in allowing someone to feel safe in reaching out.
