The Wana Walkers Club was established to encourage students to be active and make healthy choices. Each shoe on the wall represents five miles. Mrs. Bowen and her 23 students have 255 shoes posted on the wall. This adds up to 5,100 laps or 1,275 miles ran or walked since the beginning of the school year. In the picture are Winford Jones and Nate Jones who have run in a marathon and they were sharing with the class about the importance of exercise and running a marathon.
