Topeka 4th of July Road Run The Topeka 4th of July Road Run will once again be a part of Topeka’s 4th of July festivities. Held annually for over 30 years, it is one of the oldest runs in Indiana. Last year, 174 runners entered the event. This year, the race will take place on the morning of Thursday, July 4 at the Topeka Town Park across from Tiffany’s Restaurant. A One-Mile Fun Run for kids 13 and under will kick things off at 8:10 am. Medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls, and all kids will receive a participation prize. At 8:30, the 5K race, open to all ages, will begin from the park and wind its way through the streets of Topeka. Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women overall as well as to the top two finishers in each age division. Every runner who completes the 5k race will be entered in a drawing for a ne
