Free GED Classes To Be Offered
A major proactive grant this year
from the LaGrange County Community
Foundation in support of a partnership
between Learning Generation Initiative and Four County Area Vocational
Cooperative has resulted in the
hiring of two Outreach Coordinators assigned to the task of
dramatically increasing enrollments for free GED Classes
within LaGrange County. Rod
Knox and Jackie Christman
are canvassing the county in an
effort to raise the educational
level of and employment options
of local men and women of all
ages. In the past, Four County
Area Vocational has been successful in reaching out to the
RV companies and its employees
completing a diploma as well as
CNC training, manufacturing,
medical computer tech, welding,
machining and more. An infor-
mational meeting will be held at Meadowview Elementary School on January
21 at 6:30 pm. For more information
on the free GED classes you may call
Four County Area Vocational Coopera-
tive at 1-888-349-0250 extension 251.
Residents west of LaGrange may call
Jackie Christman at (260) 316-2358;
