Meadowview students collected food items, toiletries, towels, gloves, and hats for the Clothes and Food Basket the week of October 15-19. During Red Ribbon Week, students could guess how many cans were collected. The student from each grade level that guessed closest to the number was able to go to the Clothes and Food Basket with school nurse, Margaret Hostetler, to deliver all the items collected. There was more than one student at grades 3 and 4 who guessed the exact amount. All those students were able to go. Students going on the “field trip” to the Clothes and Food Basket were Kevin Lambright, Melissa Schlabach, Keith Bontrager, Eva Hostetler, MaryLyn Yoder, Grace Yoder, Sacha Mitchell, Jeremy Beachy, and Savannah Huddleston.
