Westview Honors Fall Westview honored its fall athletes on Monday, November 5. Receiving awards for coach Hively and Cook in cross country were, Daniel Flores and Sierra Weaver, Most Valuable Runners for the boys and girls team respectively. Receiving the Mental Attitude awards were Brock Miller and Bailey Huffman. Arthur Koehler and Sierra Weaver were the recipients of the Most Improved award. Also, Devin Sharick was recognized with the Warrior Pride Medal for his cross country performance this year. In boys’ tennis this fall, Kohle Christner was honored as the Most Valuable Singles Player, the Coaches Award went to Taylor Eash and the Most Improved was awarded to Hunter Christner. Award winners for boys’ soccer were Bucky Carpenter, Offense MVP; Nate Raber, Defense MVP: Austin Borg, Mid-Field MVP; Jarret Slabach, Most Improved; and Parker Fought and Nic Raber received Coach’s Awards. Carpenter also garnered the Most Goals Scored award while Jacob Berkey won the award for Most Assists for the season. Damon Miller was recognized with the Will to Win Award and Borg was also recognized for being the Top Team Player for this year’s soccer team. Borg, along with teammates, Nate and Nic Raber, Logan Good, Jaron Lewton and Micah Hunsberger were named Boys (Left to Right): Bucky Carpenter Soccer Offense Award, Nate Raber Soccer Defense Award, Austin Borg Soccer Mid-Field Award, Dan Flores Cross Country Most Valuable Runner, and Kohle Christner Tennis Singles MVP.
