Light Parade
by Justin Geigley
Shipshewana was a little bit
brighter than usual on November 12
as the third annual Light Parade took
place. There were over 30 entries into
this year’s parade, with such floats
as Kukui’s Shaved Ice showing Santa
Claus taking a vacation in Hawaii and
ice carvers on a platform to promote
the Ice Festival that will take place
later on this year. The Ice Festival pin
design winner Jessica Castle was seen
riding atop a float.
