passing by looking for my food”. He did
appear to be hungry and not at all cautious of danger. An interesting moment
captured in the memory of my mind, but
an understandable behavior because of
the surrounding conditions.
Some animals are even eating the
flowers from our yards. Like I mentioned
when conditions are present like this,
these critters are not at all picky in what
they eat. They are just trying to survive.
At the time of this writing we have
had some decent amounts of rain. I am
hopeful that this condition will improve
our drought situation. I know that in
some areas it is really going to be a struggle to even make a profit for this year’s
crops, including our fruits and vegetables.
This is the worst drought season that
I have seen in my lifetime.
Water and rain is an important factor
in our everyday lives for many reasons
and it affects us in so many ways.
Despite the lack of rain, please
continue to get outside and enjoy all that
nature has to offer you.
