Cards for Grandparents!
The library would like to surprise all the wonderful people in
area nursing homes with a card for Grandparent’s Day and we
need your help! August 6 - Sept. 1
Stop in at any library location and color a card. It will be
delivered to a nursing home resident in time for
Grandparent’s Day!
Remember, you can do this at the Topeka Branch Library,
or any other library location!

Meet one of our favorite presenters, henna artist Jen
Schafer, & learn about the culture, history, & science of
henna! Get a free henna design & practice applying henna
on paper! Please register at the LaGrange reference desk or by calling
260-463-2841 x1030. If you’re under 18 & you plan to come alone, please
register in person, with your parent or guardian, so they can sign a waiver for you.
Children under 5 shouldn’t use henna.

Hunter Ed. Classes
Exploring My Plate with
Professor Popcorn
Hunter education is not just for kids & not just for hunters. The program
is for all folks who enjoy the outdoors & have an interest in conservation.
Taking a hunting class will allow you to comply with Indiana Hunter
Education Law & will also make you a safer & more knowledgeable hunter.
The class can also be an excellent refresher for veteran hunters. The class is
free & open to all ages, but please note:
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring a packed meal to eat during the supper break.

on healthy eating and good snack choices. Everyone welcome!
