Elijah Haven Crisis Intervention Center will be the beneficiary of The Davis Mercantile 5th Saturday Community Day, July 30th, from 9 am to 6 pm located at 225 Harrison St., Shipshewana. A percentage of sales in the building will benefit this not-for-profit organization. Activities taking place throughout the day are ... 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm: RAD personal safety demonstrations will given by the Shipshewana Police Department, east of The Davis Mercantile east porch. 4:30 pm: A free concert by the Emma Mennonite Men’s chorus will be held in the theatre located on the third floor of The Mercantile. Throughout the day, there will be music by Adam Marchand and others as well. Also, there will be Elijah Haven volunteers on hand to answer questions about their organization and the services they provide.
