The Hometown Treasure · April ‘13 · pg 3 by Jerry Hostetler, Editor Being a fun-loving bunch here at The Hometown Treasure, we like to insert humor into our work environment to allay some of the stress that goes with the territory, as we try to complete our work to meet our deadlines. There’s been more than a few practical jokes, and foolery that has occurred here at our office and it keeps us all on somewhat of an even keel. Since April 1 will probably be a fun and eventful day here at the office, we’ve decided to pass some of our funloving pranks and practical jokes on to our readers. The result is an April Fool’s edition of The Hometown Treasure. Not everything in this issue is an April Fool’s joke. Most of the stories and photos are serious, and we don’t want to make light of the accomplishments of the members of our community that are featured in this issue. However, with the help of our staff of talented writers and designers we’ve inserted a few fun-loving April Fool’s Day funnies. So, peruse through this month’s issue and have fun finding our little bits of humor that we’ve inserted for your April Fool’s Day enjoyment. Happy April Fools Day!
