The Shipshewana Table Tennis
League recently completed another
successful season of league play during
the months of January and February.
Over fifty players met each Tuesday
evening at the Shipshewana-Scott
Elementary gymnasium for hours of
competitive play. This year, players and
fans were treated to a special appearance from 2008 Olympic Coach Dan
Seemiller and two of his nationally
ranked junior players.
The league saw many new players this year, both young and old. A
double-elimination tournament was
held on March 6 where Ken Borkholder once again won the Advanced
Division (Group 1) bracket by beating
veteran LaVern W. Yoder. The league
was sponsored by Yoder’s Shipshewana
Hardware. Below are the results of the
rest of the tourney:

their garage sale which will be held in
conjunction with Shipshewana townwide garage sale, May 11 and 12 at the
parking lot in front of the Historical
Society’s home, the old Farver School
in downtown Shipshewana.
