The Homebuilding & Renovating Show is all about ideas , inspiration and expert advice and our extensive seminar programme is at the heart of this . From kitchen and bathroom design , extensions and remodelling , to making your home more energy efficient , our experts share their knowledge and experience on undertaking a project . You can learn how to secure planning permission , how to complete your home on time and within budget , and how to avoid the common pitfalls waiting to catch out the inexperienced and unwary .
To get the most out of your visit , take time to plan out your day and attend as many sessions as you can . You can find the Masterclass Theatre in the Esher Hall ( Lower Ground ) and the Seminar Theatre in the Brasserie via the Surrey Hall ( Ground Floor ). If you want someone to take a fresh look at your floorplans , need help choosing the right heating system or are struggling to get planning permission , then head on over to the Advice Centre in the Esher Hall ( find us on the Lower Ground , see the map inside the back cover ). Here you can enjoy impartial one-to-one advice with a free 15-minute consultation with experts from the Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine team , architects , builders , and planners . All bookings are on a first come first served basis and only available on the day , so arrive early to avoid disappointment .
