GOLF MARATHON ILLINOIS JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION GOLF MARATHON Raising money to give opportunities to junior golfers in financial need. All contributions are tax-deductible. The 2018 IJGA Golf Marathon is right around the corner. As one of the largest fundraisers the IJGA hosts, the goal of the Golf Marathon is to raise money to support the future of junior golf in the state of Illinois. But what exactly does “support the future of junior golf” mean? This fund is used to provide financial aid to junior golfers who may not have the opportunity to play with the IJGA without your generous support! What does participating in this event entail? Well, those who choose to join us on September 7, at Cantigny Youth Links in Wheaton, Illinois, are signing up to play 100 holes! That might sound like a lot but Cantingy Youth Links is a par-3 course and golfers will be playing multiple balls on each hole, with each ball counting for one hole played. The event is expected to begin at 9am and conclude by 2pm. DONATE HERE 6 Illinois Junior Golf Association If you don’t think playing 100 holes is something you are up for, you are still invited to donate to the Golf Marathon fund by using the link below. So far this year, we have raised over $20,000, which puts us only one-fifth of the way to our fundraising goal of $100,000. But there is still time to donate, and/or even sign-up to participate! If you have any questions about the Golf Marathon, please contact Jordan Abdel-Haq at [email protected].
