HUDSON AT DESERT ILLINI WOMEN’S GOLF MOUNTAIN INTERCOLLEGIATE TAKES FIFTH PLACE IJGA alumnus Daniel Hudson, a member of the University of Kansas Men’s Golf Team, helped his team earn a first place finish at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate. The team finished 21 strokes better than the next low team. Daniel’s final round featured three birdies on his first nine holes and despite a bogey and double bogey on his final five holes, he carded his second top-10 this season. The Fighting Illini Women’s Golf team placed fifth at the annual Meadow Club Women’s Intercollegiate. IJGA alumna Bing Singhsumalee finished the tournament in 10th place. Fellow IJGA alumna Dana Gattone also competed at this event. The Redhawks finished the tournament tied for second place. Fellow IJGA alumni Charlie Nikitas finished just behind Ohr, after finishing the tournament at eight-over-par, and Patrick Flavin carded a final round of 75 to tie for 31st.
