The most noteable performance at the IHSA State Championships came from Tommy Kuhl (2018) of Morton, Ill., who set the state record after carding an 8-under-par 63 during the opening round and following it up with a 5-under-par 66 during the final round. His 13-under- par 129 tournament total is the lowest total carded across all the classes by an astounding eight strokes.
