CHANDARIA FOUNDATION Partners with the M. P. Shah Hospital
M. P Shah Hospital is proud to partner with The Chandaria Foundation in its ongoing development plans at the Hospital
On 27 th November 2017 Dr Manu Chandaria presented a Cheque of 25 Million Kenya Shillings from the Chandaria Foundation towards the development of The New Ultra Modern operating theatres which are to be based at the new Medical Centre under construction.
The new medical center will create additional bed capacity, new maternity theatres and a cutting edge oncology department.
During the cheque presentation, Dr Chandaria and his Wife Mrs. Aruna mentioned how important it was to remain abreast of new technology that is continuously changing the medical landscape.
The Chairman of the M P Shah hospital, Dr. Manoj Shah thanked him for considering the hospital and reiterated the hospital’ s commitment to provision of world-class healthcare to patients. The hospital is thankful to the Chandaria Foundation for always supporting the objectives and always partnering with the hospital in the past and now going forward to provide affordable patient centered care.
The Chandaria Foundation, funded by the Chandaria Family, was established over 50 years ago, making it one of the oldest foundations in Africa. The Foundation’ s work focuses on early childhood education, poverty reduction, and children’ s health.
As the chairman of the Chandaria Foundation, Dr. Manu Chandaria is at the forefront of the charitable work of the family.
