It has strengthened the hospital for the long term - reducing costs,wastage & risks while also facilitating growth & expansion. It has helped different hospital departments to better work together for the benefit of patients.It is a methodology that improves the quality of care for patients by reducing errors & waiting times. KARANIA FAMILY Supports The M.P Shah Hospital The Karania Family has once again partnered with the M.P Shah Hospital to develop a specialized Transplant Ward at the new Medical Towers that is currently under construction at the hospital. The have contributed Ksh. 25 million towards the cost of this. This Transplant Ward once ready will assist the hospital in its endeavor to carry out Kidney and Liver Transplants at the hospital. The hospital already has a competent Nephrologist who is currently developing a special team to carry out Kidney transplant. The hospital is expected to carry out 20 THE HEALTH TRACK successfully 4 cases in January 2018.    Mr Mohanbhai, Nitin and the Karania Family have pledged to fully support this endeavor at the M.P Shah Hospital. Mr Mohanbhai Karania has diligently served on the board of M.P Shah Hospital for over 30 years. The Karania Ward which is the premium ward at the Hospital was constructed 44 years ago and last year, once again with the support of the Karania Family a major face lift was carried out. The new state-of- the-art Karania Ward at the JANUARY - MARCH 2018 hospital today still remains the most popular and premium ward at the hospital.    The M.P Shah Hospital in its expansion plans has this year seen the opening of a new ultra-modern High Dependency Unit (HDU), a Grand New Entrance and many upgrades of equipment. With the new medical towers under construction the hospital is further going to enhance its services to include Oncology in 2018. THE KAIZEN JOURNEY M P Shah hospital has launched its second phase of Kaizen journey on 25 th November 2017. With the Introduction and Implementation of Kaizen at our Hospital, our Service to Patients will be enhanced to international Standards.   Kaizen has supported employees & physicians, eliminating roadblocks & allowing them to focus on providing patient care. The first phase of this kaizen journey has shown amazing results with efficient processes ,and the hospital through the retreat function has launched five new projects to roll out Kaizen in different areas.
