With women only currently holding 1.5 per cent of board
level positions on listed companies in the GCC countries, our
leaders have acknowledged the need for gender diversity in
corporations responsible for driving the region’s future economies. And we, at WomenCorporateDirectors™, know this can only
lead to an increase in the demand for skilled, competent and
governance focused female directors.
Supported by well respected sponsors and partners such as
KPMG, Heidrick & Struggles, IFC, JPMorgan Chase and Northern
Trust; WomenCorporateDirectors™ are committed to advocating good
governance, with a global vision. Members share information and
insights, focusing on best practice corporate governance, risk management and organizational leadership. All of our members are striving
towards a common goal; being a change catalyst for increased gender
diversity on corporate boards.
WomenCorporateDirectors™ (GCC Chapter) is a dynamic and key resource for
its selected members by providing unique opportunities for local networking, a Middle
Eastern specific continuing professional education program, diverse worldwide speaking
engagements and facilitating board/advisory board positions for women across the region.
