The Dealer Advisory Council’ s NATDA Trailer Show Town Haul session may be the most valuable ninety minutes you’ ll spend in Nashville.
Running a trailer dealership in 2026 requires a different approach than it did even a few years ago. Inventory decisions carry more risk, financing costs remain a factor, and growth opportunities can be harder to evaluate. Knowing when to invest, when to streamline, and where to focus resources has become one of the biggest challenges dealers face.
This year’ s Town Haul brings dealers together to share what’ s working, what used to but now isn’ t, and what could be next. It’ s free to register; but seats are LIMITED!
What’ s on the Table
Join us at the 2026 NATDA Trailer Show, the Dealer Advisory Council Tow Talk:
Session:“ Right-Sizing Growth: Smarter Inventory, Stronger Dealerships” Date: Tuesday, September 1 Time: 8:00 AM- 9:45 AM
The conversation covers three topics that occupy a dealer’ s normal workday:
• Inventory management in uncertain times. How do you stock enough to stay competitive without getting stuck with units gathering dust? The Council will share the indicators that tell you when you’ re overcommitted, or understocked. Spoiler alert: The way dealers managed inventory successfully last year, may not work his year.
• Brand variety: more isn’ t always better. How many trailer lines can one dealership actually support? Panelists will dig into the trade-offs between selection and complexity, and what the sweet spot looks like.
• Expand or optimize? New location or make what you have work harder? These are the questions that keep owners up at night, and the Council’ s got dealers who’ ve been through it both ways sharing what they’ d do differently.
Reserve Your Spot
Last year’ s Town Haul drew a standing room only crowd, and this year’ s discussion promises to do the same. If you’ re looking for practical ideas you can take back to your dealership and put into action, make plans to attend.
This session will fill up; be sure you register and add to your schedule!
