A More Accessible Option: The Express 20 Group
One of the biggest barriers to peer groups has traditionally been cost and the time away from day-to-day operations, especially for smaller dealerships. To help provide greater access to dealerships, NATDA and NCM are introducing the Express 20 Group.
The Express version delivers the same core benefits of a traditional 20 Group, but in a flexible hybrid format that reduces travel and time away from the dealership. It’ s designed for dealers who want consistent insights and peer engagement without the full-time commitment of a traditional model.
Test & Learn at the NATDA Trailer Show
Dealers won’ t have to wait long to get a firsthand look.
NCM Associates will deliver three education sessions at the 2026 NATDA Trailer Show, taking place September 1 – 3 in Nashville.
Sessions will include:
• Parts Management: Proven Practices to Drive Profitability
• Maximizing Profitability in Your Service Department
• A Mock 20 Group Session, giving attendees a live, behind-the-scenes look at how 20 Groups work
Together, these sessions are designed to be practical, data-driven, and immediately applicable— providing a preview of the deeper engagement dealers can expect through ongoing NCM programming.
Giving Back: Scholarships, Discounts, and Long-Term Value
Beyond training and peer groups, the partnership also brings new financial advantages for NATDA members.
Each year, two member scholarships will be awarded for NCM training programs, valued at up to $ 3,395 each. Members will also gain access to exclusive discounts on NCM workshops, along with shared trend insights and benchmarking summaries distributed through NATDA channels.
“ This partnership offers valuable and costeffective resources that improves performance and grows stronger businesses,” said Corey Langley, Director of Exhibits & Partnerships at NATDA.
Looking ahead, NATDA and NCM plan to expand joint educational initiatives beginning in 2027, further strengthening professional development opportunities across the trailer industry.
A Strategic Investment in Dealer Success
At its core, the NATDA – NCM partnership is about creating practical, cost-effective ways for dealers to improve performance, learn from one another, and build stronger businesses.
From trailer-only 20 Groups to in-depth workshops, scholarships, and live education at the Trailer Show, the initiative reflects NATDA’ s continued commitment to helping dealership grow and connect— together.
More details, including enrollment timelines and program expansion, will be shared in the coming months.
