From humble beginnings, brothers Jim and Jerry Behnke founded Behnke Trailers in 1987 and have since seen it grow into a pioneer of the trailer industry. They started off manufacturing boat trailers and performing farm repair services in a leased 3,600 square foot building in Holy Cross, IA. Fast forward to 2026, the business now resides in the neighboring town of Farley, IA, where the facility covers 500,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities across 32 acres.
As time has passed, the product lines have evolved immensely, with trailer capacities ranging from 3,500 lbs. – 170,000 lbs.; allowing for one of the widest product lines found anywhere in the industry.
