Brian James Trailers Builds Momentum After a Breakout Year

After winning the TRAILmakER Trophy at its first NATDA Trailer Show, this UK manufacturer has grown to six U. S. dealerships in less than a year

For Brian James Trailers, a first appearance at the 2025 NATDA Trailer Show quickly became the launchpad for growth in the North American market.
The UK-based manufacturer arrived in Nashville looking to introduce dealers to a product lineup that differed from traditional offerings available in the U. S. By the end of the show, its Race Transporter 7 had earned the industry’ s top Innovation Showcase honor, taking home the TRAILmakER Trophy.
“ It was the first Trailer Show for Brian James Trailers since entering the North America market, so we didn’ t really know what to expect,” said CEO Nick Brown.“ There were lots of great products on display, so finding out we had won the TRAILmakER Trophy in our first year was a great surprise.”
According to Brown, the Race Transporter 7 resonated with dealer attendees because it brought something new to the market.
“ Our products are very unique in the North American market,” he said.“ Dealers really liked the product at the 2025 Trailer Show, because it is so different to what they are used to. The Race Transporter 7 is a very innovative, premium enclosed car hauler, which is a great product for dealers to offer their customers.” The attention generated in Nashville continued long after the NATDA Trailer Show ended.
From One Trophy to Six Dealerships
Less than a year after entering the U. S. market, Brian James Trailers has expanded from zero authorized dealerships to six.
“ Being able to display our products at the NATDA Trailer Show really helped get our products in front of lots of dealers in one go,” Brown said.“ That was really the start of our growth, which has continued since then.” The company plans to continue that momentum when it returns to Nashville this September, where attendees can expect to see the award-winning Race Transporter 7 alongside several other products, including a dump trailer, an open car hauler and the company’ s new Box Van cargo trailer.
Where Innovation Gets Noticed
Looking back on the company’ s first year in North America, Brown sees the Innovation Showcase as an important part of Brian James Trailers’ growth strategy.
“ The Innovation Showcase is a great way to highlight your company to the industry and especially to highlight a particular product or innovation,” he said.“ It is a great opportunity to show that you have something different and innovative to offer.”
Brian James Trailers’ experience demonstrates how Innovation Showcase exposure can translate into dealer connections, industry recognition and meaningful business growth. Less than a year after entering the U. S. market, the company has expanded to six authorized dealerships and is returning to Nashville with plans to continue growing its North American presence.
