Christmas Tree Lighting brings people downtown

“i like how everyone gets together. i like
the live nativity that they have and i am sure
they were freezing. it is nice, though, because you walk down the street and you can
see everyone and say ‘Hi.’” Shannon said.
Despite the event moving to a Wednesday, thibault and Shannon said it didn’t affect potential other plans they may have
had.
“it didn’t matter. i preferred the tree lighting be on Saturday, but this was great. i
would have come, regardless. it would have
been better to watch the lighting if it
snowed then rain, so it was better it was
tonight,” thibault said.
renee Knight of Mullica township enjoyed the entire evening downtown, as she
and her husband brought their seven-yearold son, ryan to see the tree lighting and
visit with Santa afterwards at Wells fargo
Bank.

him to light the tree, and then we come in
here. We come to all the downtown events.
