PLANNING , from Page 1 and seconded by board member Vincent
Messina . the Pettit Group LLC President and Design engineer on the project , John Pettit , appeared before the board to propose the 15-foot-wide driveway .
“ What we ’ re looking to do at the existing taco Bell is add a return lane in front of the taco Bell so that people coming out of the drive-through lane are able to get back into the lot ,” Pettit said .
Signs will be installed along each side of taco Bell ’ s exit reading ‘ Do Not enter ’ to deter people from turning into the exit lane , according to Pettit . the proposal was originally tabled by the board after Board Solicitor James Schroeder alerted Pettit that the law states that when the owner involved in the application for an amended major site plan is an LLC , an attorney must be present to offer counsel , and since Hammonton investors LCC is not the sole proprietor , no vote could be made until an attorney was present .
PARKS , from Page 3 software . the utility of the capabilities could help the town assess the effectiveness of Bladderwort spraying around the lake , Hernandez said . Hernandez made a recommendation to the HLWQC to have the aCCC students meet with Barberio and plan overhead mapping of the Hammonton Lake using these drones .
“ the use of this technology is pretty broad ... We haven ’ t even thought about all the uses of this stuff yet , to be honest with you . So , we ’ re happy to work with anyone in this regard , and i ’ m always looking for projects for our students ,” Hernandez said . in other news , Commissioner and town Councilman Michael Pullia reported during the meeting ’ s Council report that council will meet with representatives of the Hammonton Hawks youth football team in the near future to discuss the details of the recent approval of lights at Hammonton Middle School ’ s William t . Capella field . Pullia said that Barberio spoke with Musco Lighting to get early proposals on costs of the lights , so the town can budget accordingly .
Barberio added that he plans to meet again with Musco Lighting in early January to get a better idea of what the electrical requirements fortunately for Pettit , an attorney was present for the second amended major site plan request . attorney Jeffrey Chang , of Heilbrunn Pape , was present at the meeting , representing Mmg real estate Holdings LLC , who were seeking an amended major site plan approval for the Main road apartment complex project .
During a recess in the meeting , Chang called his firm and made sure it was OK to offer counsel while the board voted on Pettit ’ s proposal .
Before the final vote was cast , Board Planner Kevin Dixon said in his report that the proposal to build the driveway connecting the two ends of the parking lot at taco Bell could solve an inconvenient problem for drivers entering and exiting the lot , but also make that area of the White Horse Pike safer .
“ the circulation of that site is counterclockwise . to circulate the site , you have you pull out on to the White Horse Pike and then you have to turn left , and nobody ’ s going to go all the way out and turn left and
will be so he can begin the necessary processes with atlantic City electric .
“ i set up — tentatively — a meeting with them the first week of January … We would do the site visit , but then they would explain to me what the electrical requirements would be so that i can start the process with atlantic City electric because that ’ s probably going to take more time — according to Musco — than actually putting the lights up . So , we have to
come all the way back ... So , this is going to solve that problem ,” Dixon said . as for the amendment to the Main road apartments ’ original major site plan , representatives were looking to confirm the agreement made during November ’ s Parks and recreation Commission meeting that would require a staggered $ 70,000 payment in lieu of active recreation be made for a proposed tot lot on the property , located at Block 4801 , Lot 6 and 6.01 , zone r3-a at Main road . the apartment project originally received approval in february 2005 and appeared in front of the board in June of 2015 , asking for an extension on the project , according to Chang . the five , equal staggered payments ( one for each apartment building ) will each be due with a certificate of occupancy . Because this is a deviation from Ordinance 175-123 , it requires planning board approval , according to Schroeder . a motion to approve the amended major site plan was made by board member and
get that rolling ,” Barberio said . if all goes according to plan , Hammonton will have another lighted field this spring , according to Barberio .
“ if money is in place by early spring , we ’ re talking about 10
