Dennis Wayne Tomasco , 73 , of Folsom and formerly of Hammonton went home to be with the Lord on December 4 , 2023 at home . He was born on July 29 , 1950 in Hammonton , N . J . Before retiring Dennis worked for thirty-two years as a truck driver for Harrison Beverage in Pleasantville . He was a member of the Teamsters Local 331 . He was a great baseball player for Hammonton High School . Dennis was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan . He belonged to Boot Hill Gun Club , where he learned to hunt with his dad , and to pass it on to his family and friends . He loved gardening and being outdoors . He had a huge heart and an equally large sense of humor .
He was predeceased by his parents , Thomas Dominic ( Tedo ) and Dorothy ( nee Wells ) Tomasco ; his sisters , Lucille and Anna ; and his twin grandsons , Joseph and Michael ; and his mother-in-law , Rose . He leaves behind his beloved wife , Verna Tomasco ( nee Vitale ); his beautiful daughter , Denise Thompson ( Joey ); his son , Dennis ( Denny ) Tomasco ; his step daughter , Darnell ; granddaughter , Joanna ; his grandsons , Tyler and Joel ; and his step grandsons , Jimmy and Robert ; and his great grandchildren , Demetry , and Demari who had a special place in his heart . His two sisters that were so very close to him , Beverly Mascio and Dale Fichetola . He had a way to make everyone laugh , and he will be missed by many cousins , nieces , and nephews , especially Lucy , Sherry , Bobby , Ralphie , Brian and Brandon .
Funeral services were held at Calvary Chapel in Hammonton . Burial was held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery , 124 S . First Road , Hammonton .

Linda Ann Lynch

Linda Ann Lynch ( nee Vetrone ), 73 , of Folsom , N . J . passed away Friday December 22 , 2023 peacefully at home with her loving family by her side . Linda was born in Phila . Pa and raised in Stratford , N . J . and graduated from Sterling High School in 1968 . She moved to Folsom in 1976 . She worked for Harrah ’ s Casino for over 24 years as a Cage Banker . She loved going to local Winery ’ s for entertainment , hanging with her family by the pool and loved all Philly sports teams especially the Philadelphia Wings Lacrosse .
Linda is predeceased by her parents , Robert and Elaine Vetrone . Surviving are her husband , Clyde Robert Lynch ; daughters , Kimberly Olive ( John ) of Collings Lakes , N . J . and Deborah Wines ( Ron ) of Hammonton , N . J .; and sisters , Barbara Kelleher ( Robert ) and Ruth Burton ( David ) both of Cape May Court House , NJ . She will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren , Alyssa ( Andrew ), Joshua ( Danielle ), Matthew ( Sarah ), Emily , Christopher , Zachary and Lauren .
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday December 29 , 2023 from 10:30 a . m . to 12 p . m . followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p . m . all at Our Lady of the Lakes Church 19 Malaga Rd . Collings Lakes , NJ . Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S . First Rd . Hammonton , NJ . In lieu of flowers , donations may be made in Linda ’ s name to S . J . HPD makes DUI arrest

The Hammonton Police Department ( HPD ) arrested a Hammonton resident for driving under the influence , according to Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel .
Officer Travis Hoffman conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Lakeview Drive and Queens Lane on Dec . 18 at 10:32 p . m . Hoffman observed a vehicle traveling eastbound off Route 30 at a high rate of speed . The vehicle was stopped in Lakeview Drive near Queens Lane , Friel said .
Keith Conover , 26 , of Hammonton , was arrested for operating the vehicle under the influence . A strong odor of raw and burnt marijuana emanating from within the vehicle was detected . Conover stated that he did smoke earlier in the day . Hoffman observed signs of impairment , Friel said .
Conover was charged with DUI , careless and reckless driving , speeding and open container in a motor vehicle , Friel said .
Conover was released , pending court appearance at Hammonton Joint Municipal Court , Friel said .
This report is comprised of arrests and investigations made by the men and women of local enforcement . All suspects and arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law .

Catherine A . Cristeno

Catherine A . Cristeno ( nee Silipena ), 100 , of Audubon , N . J . passed away on December 21st . Born and raised in Nesco , Catherine graduated from Hammonton High School at the age of 16 and went to Atlantic City to live with her sister and work at a deli . After the war started , she worked at the U . S . Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia as a riveter on airplanes . She met her husband there and lived in Philadelphia until they moved to Audubon in 1962 where she lived until her passing .
Catherine was predeceased by her husband , Joseph A . Cristeno ; along with six brothers and sisters . She is lovingly survived by her two daughters , Sandra “ Sandy ” Johnston and Patricia “ Pat ” DiDomenico ; her four grandchildren , Tricia , Johnny , Louis and Joseph ; her six great grandchildren , John Thomas , Ryan , Heidi , Sonny , Ellie and William ; her sister , Dorothy Cassetta ; her brother , Arthur Silipena as well as numerous nieces and nephews .
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Saturday , December 30 from 10 a . m . – 11 a . m . at the Healey Funeral Home , 9 White Horse Pike , Haddon Heights , N . J . where her Funeral Service will be held at 11 a . m . with Fr . Paul Harte presiding . Interment following at Locustwood Cemetery , Cherry Hill .
