personal potential . in addition to being the mother to a 6-year-old daughter , Gallagher has been a professional photographer since 2012 and currently owns allisonanne Studios , where she has experienced significant success , especially in 2015 .

“ My success was over the top , it was more than i could have ever seen coming in that year . it wasn ’ t just a steady growth , it catapulted ,” Gallagher said .

Unfortunately , the wave of success would crash the following year , and Gallagher was left searching for reasons why .

“ i still do not know why — and i ’ ve had discussions with professionals about what it could ’ ve been — but 2016 was a very quiet year . i mean , so quiet that i was very scared , and so , i said to myself , ‘ i need to go back to 2015 . What was i doing differently ?’ Because i really didn ’ t think i was doing anything differently . i had zero unhappy clients ; i had done 150 shoots in 2015 and not one unhappy client ,” Gallagher said .

What Gallagher discovered is that she had a significant lack of personal records for her past inquiries , booking , networking , social media and blog posts , and decided she needed to start utilizing a planner in order to track certain trends and patterns with her business throughout the year . Gallagher bought two planners in the middle of 2016 , which she customized and started documenting every facet of her daily business operations , but did not feel it was the answer to her problem . So , Gallagher decided to take matters into her own hands .

“ i couldn ’ t find that planner that worked for me . the planners that i was using didn ’ t work , so i was literally sitting in my hairdresser ’ s chair — and she she ’ s a fellow entrepreneur — and she said , ‘ allison , if you cannot find the planner that you need then you need to make one ’ and the blood rushed to my feet . i couldn ’ t even contain the excitement of the thought that this is the next thing for me ,” Gallagher said . DiDONATO , from Page 1 was “ unfinished business ” that he wanted to tend to before leaving office , specifically seeing that financial plan he laid out for the town properly comes to fruition .

“ in 2005 , 2006 , when my brother [ John ] first started [ as mayor ], that first year , he had to sign $ 13.5 million of bonding that was left over from previous regimes , and it had to be paid off in 10 to 12 years ; it was , quickly . So , i don ’ t want to leave the town with that situation where i spend dollars and leave the next regime hamstrung for the things they have , the vision they have for the town of Hammonton ,” DiDonato said .

DiDonato said it is important that the town is left in strong condition with its debt retired and its infrastructure and public investment improved by the time his tenure as mayor comes to a conclusion .

“ i want to be able to say , ‘ OK , we purchased items , we made improvements , but we paid the lion ’ s share of those improvements off ,’” DiDonato said .

Mayor previews 3rd term

the anticipated announcement of the second year of a five-year program that will aim to improve the condition of many of the town ’ s roadways , for which he estimated between $ 800,000 and $ 850,000 has been spent during the past year . after extensive maintenance on the infrastructure beneath the surface of many of the town ’ s roads had been done over the past year , such as utility replacements , DiDonato said the focus will shift to doing more repairs to road surfaces over the remaining years of the road program .

“ Now that we ’ re done a lot of the infrastructure projects with the pipe and stuff , we want to do more projects like we did last year … So , over the five years , we ’ re going to spend maybe close to $ 4 million in road work and that will get the majority of the town roads that have been in need of repair that we could not get to because we were doing the pipework and the different , more serious problems ,” Di- Donato said . among the long-term goals for DiDonato ’ s third term is seeing that the town ’ s aforementioned
