40 people gathered in the lobby of
the former Bank of America building on Bellevue Avenue to witness
the signing of a property lease by

HAMMONTON—John
A.
Cavuto, a former town councilman
and successful businessman who
remained active in the town until
his final days, died on December 1
at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees.
Cavuto was 94. Following his
death, the town honored his memory by hanging the black and purple bunting over the doorway into
town hall. Cavuto served as a town
councilman from 1957 to 1958, according to town clerk April Maimone.
