Second Street after police received a tip On N. Second Street; also facing drug charges about him, Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said. “It was a ‘check well-being’ call that be- came a warrant arrest,” Friel said. Police were tipped off that the man had a “blade” — meaning a knife — on him and that he was walking down N. Second Street, Friel said. Officer John Amendolia III encountered Brian Nicholas, 41, of Hammonton, Friel said. Friel said Nicholas was found to have an active NCIC warrant from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office.
