HAMMONTON—A man who was
found to have a knife and drugs in his pos-
session and an outstanding warrant was ar-
rested at 12:09 p.m. on November 28 on N.
Second Street after police received a tip
On N. Second Street; also facing drug charges
about him, Hammonton Police Chief Kevin
Friel said.
“It was a ‘check well-being’ call that be-
came a warrant arrest,” Friel said.
Police were tipped off that the man had a
“blade” — meaning a knife — on him and
that he was walking down N. Second Street,
Friel said.
Officer John Amendolia III encountered
Brian Nicholas, 41, of Hammonton, Friel
said.
Friel said Nicholas was found to have an
active NCIC warrant from the Camden
County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon searching Nicholas, it was found
that he had in his possession a folding knife
and a bag of “dope” as he stated to the offi-

HAMMONTON—On Novem-
ber 30, businesses throughout
Hammonton welcomed customers
into their establishments with all
manner of deals and incentives to
entice them on Small Business
Saturday.
At The Golden Feather, cus-
tomers were greeted with a 25 per-
cent discount on all items in the
store. There was also a raffle for a
large gift basket full of goodies
from the store, free gifts with
every purchase and free refresh-
ments for every customer.
