Estella DeMarco Moore ( nee Triboletti ), 99 , of Hammonton , passed away peacefully on Thursday , November 25 , 2021 .
Born on November 11 , 1922 , she was the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth ( Marinucci ) Triboletti .
She was the original owner of Estella ’ s Beauty Salon which operated in Somerdale , N . J . for 54 years . She was an avid reader and a great animal lover . Formerly of Somerdale , N . J . and Hollywood , Fla ., she has resided in Elm , N . J . for the past 10 years .
She is predeceased by her husband , Dominic ( Nicky ) DeMarco and her second husband , Albert Moore .
She is survived by her daughter , Darlene ( Richard ) Avedissian of Cherry Hill , N . J . and her son , Dominic DeMarco Jr . of Fountain , Fla . She is the loving grandmother to Eric Avedissian and Dominic DeMarco III ; great-grandmother to Dominic IV , Adriana and Madison DeMarco . Helen E . Ford

Helen E . Ford ( nee Arena ), 97 , passed away on Wednesday , November 24 , 2021 .
Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident . Helen last worked for the AC Expressway as a leader in the clerical department . Helen had many jobs in her life which include South Jersey Transportation Auth . State Police Division , secretary of Mori Brothers , office manager at Harry Sharpe Inc ., East End Motors all in Vineland . She was a trainee for RCA Victor in Camden , VP of NJ Federation of Republicans of Atlantic County , president of Hammonton Women ’ s Republican Club , member of the Fishing Club of America , Hammonton Historical Society , Women ’ s Civic Club of Hammonton , Hammonton Seniors Club and ABWA South Jersey Rose Society . Helen enjoyed playing cards , going to the casinos , sport fishing was her favorite hobby , and traveling to Florida .
She is predeceased by her husband , Robert J . Ford ; parents , Salvatore and Millie ( Caruso ) Arena ; sisters , Mamie Rastelli and Marie Dampf ; brothers , Angelo Arena , Charles Arena and Joseph J . Arena . She is survived by her nieces and nephews as well as her caregiver Richard Chiappine . Entombment will be in Greenmount Cemetery . Fatal accident on WHP

POLICE , from Page 1 Center Drive , Friel said . Vehicle number two , a black 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup , was traveling eastbound on Route 30 , Friel said .
“ Driver number one made a left turn in front of vehicle number two , causing vehicle number two to impact the passenger side of vehicle number one ,” Friel said .
The occupants of vehicle number one were transported by ambulance for medical attention and one of the passengers in vehicle number one succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital , Friel said .
Friel said the name of the individual who died has not been released .
The driver of vehicle number one , Federico Cano , 18 , of Winslow Twp . was charged with the following : operating a motor vehicle without a valid license causing an accident resulting in death . Motor vehicle charges for Cano included the following : unlicensed driver , reckless driving , careless driving and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle , Friel said .
Cano was later transported to the Atlantic County Jail pending court , Friel said .

Drug paraphernalia arrest

HAMMONTON — A man was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a pedestrian stop at 5:59 a . m . on November 23 on the 800 block of S . White Horse Pike ( Route 30 ), Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said .
“ Officer Richard Carpo was patrolling and observed a subject walking down the side of the road on the White Horse Pike ( Route 30 ). The subject was walking into traffic and was almost struck ,” Friel said .
Carpo stopped and identified the subject , William M . Dougherty , 45 , of West Hazelton , Pa ., Friel said .
Dougherty was found to have three bench warrant arrests under his Pennsylvania driver ’ s license , Friel said . He was placed under arrest , and was found to be in possession of a glass pipe with burnt ends which had a piece of copper with burnt white residue , Friel said .
He was transported to police headquarters for processing , charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and two Title 39 violations : failure of pedestrian to face traffic and pedestrian walking into traffic , Friel said .
Dougherty was then turned over to the Middle Twp . Police Department for a bench warrant under their jurisdiction , Friel said .
Carpo was the investigating and arresting officer , Friel said .

Tenant dispute leads to arrest

HAMMONTON — A tenant dispute that allegedly occurred at 12:17 a . m . on November 27 on the 300 block of 11th Street turned into a disorderly conduct arrest , Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said .
Officer Travis Hoffman was dispatched to the location in reference to a criminal mischief complaint , Friel said .
He arrived and made contact with the accused , Jennifer Snyder , 50 , of Hammonton , Friel said .
Friel said officers attempted to knock on her bedroom door multiple times with no response .
Officers made contact and she began screaming at officers , then lunged toward officers in an aggressive manner and was placed under arrest , Friel said .
She was transported to police headquarters for processing and charged with the following : assault on police , disorderly conduct , resisting arrest and obstruction of the administration of law , Friel said . Snyder was provided medical attention and released pending a court appearance , Friel said . Hoffman is the arresting and charging officer , Friel said .
