SOLAR ARRAY FOR BELLEVUE
by Paul J. Macrie IV
GAZETTE STAFF WRITER
HAMMONTON—On November 20, the Hammonton Zoning
Board of Adjustment had its regular
meeting to address one item on the
agenda. There was an application
from David S. Liberto and Bertino
Realty Company to seek a use variance to permit a ground-mounted
solar array in the GW-1 Zone and
the realignment of lot lines for
Block 3401, Lots 26 and 27, Zone
GW-1 at 646 Bellevue Ave. The
proposed plan called for a minor
subdivision, use variance and
waiver of site plan.
David Scheidegg, engineer at
Schaeffer Nassar Scheidegg Consulting Engineers, LLC in Mays
Landing represented the applicant,
and offered testimony.

where we are going to propose to
realign the lot lines. The second
part of the application is a use variance for a free-standing solar array.

Bellevue Ave. and 656 Bellevue
Ave. Lot 26 is the Liberto residence, and Lot 27 is Bertino real estate that is a rental property.
Sometime, approximately 25 years
ago, an in-ground pool was installed on the property and that pool
goes over the property line between
Lots 26 and 27. So, we would like
to subdivide that now, possibly for
purposes that [include] the inground pool associated with Lot 26
and part of the Bertino family resi-
