Studies continue at Hamm . Lake

HaMMONtON — Since 2020 , two scientists from Stockton University — Dr . emma Witt , professor of environmental studies , and Dr . aaron Stoler , professor of environmental science — have , along with their students , been conducting various studies at Hammonton Lake .

The American Legion Post 186 , in collaboration with the Hammonton Police Department , donated 100 turkeys to the St . Vincent de Paul Food Pantry on November 19 to help feed families in need this holiday season . American Legion Commander Dave Colofranson and Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel traveled to Fort Dix military base to pick up the turkeys . For the second year , Fort Dix has helped to offset the cost of the turkeys with their contribution .
