She was the daughter of Joseph and Rose Ammirato and was born and raised in Hammonton , N . J . She graduated from St . Joseph ’ s High School and attended Pierce College . Scarlet ’ s dynamic personality spread light wherever she traveled . As a devoted mother , she was an eager listener and a second mom to many friends , expelling advice whenever necessary . One of her greatest joys was being Nonna to her grandchildren , whether it was watching them perform or telling them one of her many stories .
Her fate was written in the stars , specializing in reading astrology and a lifelong devotion to spirituality . But her relationship with her husband , Frank , was a love story for the ages . Meeting at 16 , they were inseparable . Frank cared for Scarlet until her last breath which he described as his greatest honor . Her fitting passing on 11 / 11 translates as angel numbers , an indicator that Scarlet was surely heaven sent . There is a hole in the hearts of those she left behind .
She is survived by her husband , Frank J . Bruno ; their son , Frank A . Bruno and wife Allison Tan ; their daughter , Desiree Romano and husband Gabriel Romano ; and grandchildren , Scarlett-Rose , Levi , Dean and Zoey .
