make that into artwork . So I sell like used chains and all of my packaging and all of my packaging recycled and recyclables ,” Kelly said .
The festival also featured vendors to help educate people on not only the environment , but also the effect it has on animals . David Sauder of Animal Rights Activists of New Jersey in Blackwood , N . J . Sauder , who grew up on a dairy farm and has family members who are dairy farmers . After reading some pamphlets from a 4- H Fair , he could no longer deny the cruelty that animals faced and eventually went vegetarian and then vegan . The experience led him to become an animal rights activist and formed a group with other activists .
“ I ’ ve been trying to educate the public in trying to get people to change their minds about eating animals and treating animals cruelly like in the fur industry . We are a non-violent , nonprofit organization and we do educational protests at first doors ,” Sauder said .

have educational tablings throughout the year at different outdoor events ,” Sauder said .
All the way down on the street stood The Skair Studio , with hiphop and rap music blasting in the background . Showcasing handmade all-natural products such as sip-and-paints , T-shirts , business cards , and prints , owner Ashley Morston felt music is a way to keep everyone in a good mood to help get to the end of the projects .
“ We ’ re doing everything from making body butters to soap and music is a great part and great asset to that . It ’ s a great mood booster , mood stabilizer and hiphop and R & B itself is a culture that is kind of silently dying so we should do what we can to represent it because I grew up in New York City and this is part of our culture ,” Morston said .
The environment is extremely important for Morston and tries her best to use sustainable packaging when making her products .
“ I also have a programming where you get discounts for bringing back glass bottles and glass containers so that we can reuse them and redistribute them ,”
