worth a thousand words, photographer Jack Mazzeo could probably
write a few novels. the owner of
Mazzeo Studio, located at 111 S.
egg Harbor rd, got his photography start in the darkroom of his father’s studio in 1963. fifty-three
years later, Mazzeo has kept his father’s business going strong as it
celebrates its 70th anniversary,
making it the longest-running photography studio in the state of New
Jersey.
“We’re the oldest studio in New
Jersey. there’s no other studio
that’s 70 years old. there’s a lot of
pride in it––that we were able to
stay in business––because everybody else is closing down. all my
friends are out of business,”
Mazzeo said.
