Police: HHS graffiti was ‘threatening’

HaMMONtON—authorities
are investigating some threatening
graffiti that was discovered in a
boys bathroom at Hammonton
High School at 8:55 a.m. on October 5 by a hall monitor, Hammonton Police Captain Nick Salvatore
said.
Officer richard Jones, who is
the School resource Officer
(SrO) at Hammonton High
School, was notified by the hall
monitor on October 5, and an investigation began immediately,
Salvatore said.
“there was some threatening
graffiti to one of the boys rooms at
Hammonton High School. Several
students were interviewed by the
school and Officer Jones. the atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office
has been contacted,” Salvatore
said.
in other police news, three indi-
viduals were arrested and charged
with drug offenses at 12:07 a.m. on
October 6, Salvatore said. the arrests took place on Orchard Street,
Salvatore said.
Salvatore said the following individuals were arrested:
• Dominique Hannon, 22, of
Hammonton was charged with
possession of controlled dangerous
substance believed to be heroin and
possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Curtis Nichols, 25, of Hammonton was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
