Macrie IV GAZETTE STAFF WRITER HAMMONTON—The Hammonton Lake continues to draw fishermen to the 75-acre area on a daily basis, especially during parts of the spring, summer and fall. Trout, smallmouth bass and sunfish are stockpiled at the lake. With its maximum depth of 10 feet, shoreline fishing and boats without motors are allowed. In early September, The Gazette spoke to a few individuals who reside out of town about their fishing experiences at this particular lake, and what brings them to the area.
