Cartica 5K , fall festival coming to St . Joe

Joseph Academy ( SJA ) is also getting ready for the fall ,
preparing different events and social gatherings for their students and even parents . Director of Communications Bryce Young gave

On September 24 , the academy piqued interest in Designer Bag Bingo , which featured different luxury brand bags up for grabs .
The event is very popular and sells out , he said .
On Sunday , October 23 , the Fall
Festival and 5k run will take place . The academy decided to hold the event in honor of the late Dorothy Cartica , who was a popular and legendary Saint
Joseph High School field hockey coach . Young explained that

members in the academy , and that was an important part of their staff .
The Fall Festival will feature food , drinks , music and activities for children . For those who do not want to participate in the 5k run ,

No timeline yet for Palma Playground

HAMMONTON — At the September 20 meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission , Recreation Leader Denise Mazzeo gave an update regarding the installation of new playground equipment at Hammonton Lake Park ’ s Cpt . Gerard V . Palma Memorial Playground .
Mazzeo said that representatives from Adams , Rehmann and Heggan Associates ( ARH ) have been in contact with the contractor , Think Pavers Hardscaping — which is also the contractor for the Valley Avenue and School House Lane / Vine Street roadwork — in an attempt to “ narrow down a start date .”
“ I have a tentative date of , I believe , next week that they should be out there . I do not have a timeline yet , but I know that ARH is working on getting me that so that I have everything for the Commission — and the public — to let them
