commence on September 27.
In other news, crews for 2017
road program contractor A E Stone
has moved equipment on to
Lakeshore Drive on September 20
and September 21 for the 2017
road improvement program, ac-
cording to Barberio.
Two rollers, two millers and a
paver will perform the road resur-
facing, according to Public Works
department head Scott Rivera.
In other news related to the road
program, Barberio said 10 trees
will require metal plate tree shields
to protect them during roadwork. A
change order of $7,750 per tree
($77,500) will be submitted for the
tree guards, Barberio said.
Barberio said another change
order of $525,000 has been submit-

to be replaced ($52,500 per ramp).
Mayor Stephen DiDonato
stressed the significance of replac-

will spend $142,000 to clear trees
that are creating an obstruction at
the Hammonton Municipal Air-

Pinelands Commission, the town
will not be permitted to remove the
stumps of the trees and will instead
cut them so they are flush with the
ground.

and half using a septic system in
the backyard.
The property was tied to the
sewer connection in 1998, but only

Cicco. The original owner has
since sold the home.
Town solicitor Michael Malin-
sky claimed the current property
owner is responsible for the matter

but can still attempt to sue the orig-
inal property owner.
“It’s simple. Under our ordi-
nance, he has to tie in, and he’s un-
fortunately responsible. He should
have done his due diligence when
he purchased the house, and if he
wants to sue the prior seller, he can
sue the prior seller,”
