Freda Clauss Lutz
Freda Clauss Lutz , 89 , passed away peacefully in her home of 55 years in San Bruno , California , on Monday , August 2 , 2021 , surrounded by her children and grandchildren that she loved dearly . She was a cherished daughter , sister , wife , mother , grandmother and friend .
Freda was born at home on Sunday November 15 , 1931 in Hammonton , New Jersey to Samuel and Helen Clauss . She was the ninth of 10 children . She attended Lankenau Nursing School starting in 1951 and continued there as an RN until 1956 when she moved to San Francisco . It was in San Francisco that Freda met the love of her life , Paul F . Lutz . They married three months later on February 22 , 1957 and enjoyed 50 years of deep love and affection . They had four children and three grandchildren .
Freda continued to work as an RN for much of the next four decades , with breaks for family and travel . She and Paul traveled to six of the seven continents , and lived overseas in South Africa and Australia with children in tow . Together they loved to travel the country and world , visiting family and friends , exploring new cultures and cuisines , and collecting objects from all over the world .
Freda ’ s love of God and Jesus was instilled at an early age . Her life was guided by the principals of Christian love and charity . She was an active member of Bethany Presbyterian Church in San Bruno for more than 50 years , and it was at the church that she found a lifelong support system of faith and friendship .
This was not the only place Freda found community . Card games were a passion in her family , and she played Pinochle , Canasta and Bridge nearly her entire life and in these groups crafted many lifelong friendships . She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness , generosity , kindness and loving nature .
Freda Clauss Lutz is survived by her older sister , Hilda ; her children , Marta , Sam , Jan and Elaine , and her grandchildren , Audrey , Dylan and Donovan . She was preceded in death by her loving husband , Paul and her siblings , Sam , Margaret , Otis , Helen , Warren , Bob , Martha , and Dick .
Friends and loved ones are invited to a service and celebration of life that will be held at Bethany Presbyterian Church , 2400 Rosewood Drive , San Bruno , Calif ., on October 9 at 11 a . m .
Ronald McDermott
Ronald McDermott , 75 , of Nesco , N . J . passed away peacefully on Monday , September 6 , 2021 at his residence .
Born in Vineland , N . J . he moved to Bloomfield , Indiana in 1994 and resided there for 26 years . Ronnie , as he was known , worked as a carpenter all his life . He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War receiving the Air Force Commendation Medal for defending the air base against Vietcong gorillas . He enjoyed fishing , gardening and was an avid wildlife enthusiast . Loved by his grandchildren for his ability to get down to their level and just be a kid .
Ronnie is survived by his wife , Darlene , their child , Deirdre Fanelli and her husband , John . He is also survived by his stepchildren Joseph
Russo and his wife , Laurie ; Lara Gerner and 13 grandchildren .

Dolores Francis Macatee
Dolores Francis Macatee ( nee Eshelman ), 88 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away peacefully at home with her granddaughter , Jessica by her side .
Dolores was born and raised in Philadelphia . She worked as a childcare giver for ABC Daycare in Landsdale , Pa . for many years . Dolores enjoyed watching TV , especially the Grammy ’ s , Oscars and other Red Carpet events . She had a knack for making crafts for different family events and parties .
She is predeceased by her childhood sweetheart , John P . Sheffield of 30 years ; her parents , Albert Eshelman and Helen ( nee McShane ) and raised by her stepfather , George Freisleben ; her son Raymond Eshelman ; brother , Robert J . Eshelman and sister , Adele M . Newman .
Dolores is survived by her children , Milton C . Budd and his wife Anne of Galloway , N . J ., Dawn Dumond and her husband Peterson of Hammonton , N . J . and Raelien Macatee of East Greenville , Pa .
Dolores is the loving grandmother of Damond and Eric Diffenderfer , Adrian and Erica Budd , Jessica Pelly and Peterly Dumond and great-grandmother of Jacob Budd , Mason Byrns and Eric Diffenderfer Jr .
Family and friends attended her viewing on Friday , September 10 with a prayer service all at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N . Third Street , Hammonton , N . J . Patricia R . Fichetola
Patricia R . Fichetola ( nee Bentley ), 86 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away Sunday September 5 , 2021 . Pat was born and raised in Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High School in 1952 . In 1953 she was crowned Hammonton Blueberry Queen . She worked for Saveway Market , Olivo ’ s Market and ACME and retiring from Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton after 22 years of service . Pat also owned the Craft Traders for many years . She was proud of the fact she was matriarch of five generations .
Pat is predeceased by her parents , Roy and Florence Bentley ( nee Ebinger ); Rocco Fichetola , the father of her children ; her son , Wayne Fichetola ; grandson , Alan Fichetola ; her sister Dana Bentley and her furry friend , Pennie .
She is survived by her children , Rocco Bruce Fichetola ( Cheryl ) of Winslow , N . J ., Mark Fichetola ( Igna ) of Philadelphia and Kim Fichetola of Williamstown , N . J .; daughter-in-law , Cathleen Fichetola of Mays Landing , N . J . She is the loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren , 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild .

Virginia J . Fiola
Virginia J . Fiola ( nee Hummel ), 79 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away peacefully on Monday , August 30 , 2021 . She graduated from Hammonton High School in 1961 and worked for several years at William B . Kessler Clothing Company before marrying Daniel W . Fiola and raising her family . Virginia loved taking long walks around Smithville to see the stores and the Hammonton Lake Park .
She is predeceased by her husband , Daniel W . Fiola ; parents , Charles and Mary Hummel and many sisters and brothers .

George Mikula
George Mikula , 78 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away Thursday September 9 , 2021 surrounded by his loving family .
George was born in Banska Bystrica , Slovakia , and has lived in Hammonton over 35 years . He was an Electrical Engineer and retired from Phillips Medical Services where he maintained CT Machines for various hospitals in the greater South Jersey area .
He is predeceased by his wife , Luba ( nee Stuska ), and his brother , Pavol Mikula . George is survived by his daughters , Maria McMullen ( Michael ), Andrea Mikula ; son , Paul Mikula ( Terezia ); brother , Michal Mikula ; sister , Alzbeta Viselka and loving nieces and nephews . He is the loving grandfather to Genevieve , Lukas , Amelia , Fiona , and Rose .
Family and friends were invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday , September 14 at the Marinella Funeral Home , 102 N . Third Street , Hammonton , N . J . A Mass of Christian Burial followed at St .
