Josephine Monzo Josephine Monzo, 83, of Hammonton died on august 25, 2019. Monzo was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. She worked for many years at ancora State Hospital in the food services department. She will be remembered as a hard worker, and a very loving mother and grandmother. She was the wife of the late Louis Monzo, Sr., and beloved mother of anthony (Denise) Monzo, the late Louis Monzo Jr., the late Bonnie Sue Monzo and the late Joseph a. Monzo. She was the proud grand- mother of Marina, Vincent, rocky and Louis iii. She was the loving sister of anthony (Kathy) Vaccarella and Suzanne Vaccarella. She will also be missed by her many friends. Langdon, 79, of Chesilhurst, and formerly of egg Harbor City, died peacefully on Sept. 1 at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees. He was born in Philadelphia and went on to enlist in the U.S. Navy where he served from 1960 to 1964 on the USS Franklin D. roosevelt. Langdon was a painter by trade where he painted many homes in Ham- monton and the surrounding areas. He worked for the egg Harbor Yacht Company in egg Harbor until they closed and later for Post Ma- rine in Mays Landing until he retired at the age of 65. He is predeceased by his parents, Fredrick and Lillian Langdon and several brothers and sisters. He is the beloved husband of Joann (nee Domenico); father of Maria Stevens (tyrone) of Mays Landing, Joann Hulme ( Joseph) of Chesilhurst and Barbara Johnston (William) of Mays Landing; dear brother of Marie Black of Derby, Kan.; the loving grandfather of ashley, Matthew, aaron, ethan, abigail, Jared, Justin, Jolie, Jasmine and great-grandfather of Sebastian. Fred R. Myers Fred r. Myers, 89, of Glendora, N.J., died on thursday, august 29, 2019. Myers was born in Hammonton, and had resided in Monroeville, N.J., before moving to Glendora six years ago. He proudly served in the United States army during the Ko- rean War. He was the beloved husband of the late Lucia Myers, and loving father of Frank (Geraldine) Myers. He was the proud grandfather of Franky, Christina and arianna. He was the dear brother of angelina Hummel and Lucy Smith. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Gabriel Mastrobuono, Peter Mastrobuono, Graziano Mastrobuono, timothy Hummel, Shirley Hipp, Judy Stewart and Jeffrey Stew- art. Born in North Philadelphia, formerly of Barrington, she resided in Hammonton since 1975. She worked at Whitehall Labs in Hammonton until her retirement. She was a member of Hollywood east fitness club, Hammonton Canoe club where she and her husband enjoyed dancing, sports, movies, the beach and social gatherings and other interests in- cluded swimming, hiking, ice skating and any other sport that came along. She is predeceased by her husband, Bob and son, Craig. Mazzeo (nee DeChurch), 90, of Hammonton died on Mon- day, September 9, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. rita was born on January 9, 1929 to Mary and Camillo DeChurch of Medford. She was the youngest of 16 children. after growing up on a large farm in Medford, during WWii the family moved to a house in Marlton which is now the Marlton tavern. rita worked side by side with her husband John at Mazzeo Photography Studio in Hammonton for more than 50 years. they were married for 60 years and loved to travel and vacation throughout the United States and europe. Her loves included the boardwalk and going out to eat, but more than anything else spending as much time as possible with her family who meant the world to her. rita is predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, John W. Mazzeo; 10 brothers, Joe and Mike Gatto, Frank, tony, Henry, John, James, tommy, Danny and George DeChurch; five sisters, Katie Conte, annie Jennings, Mary DiMarino, Virginia iannotti and angie iannotti. He was born in Yabucoa, Puerto rico, and he graduated high school in texas before moving to Hammonton in 2006. He worked for G-Boys excavating in elm. tony enjoyed salsa music, dancing, playing video games, watching his Philadelphia eagles and other sports. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. DWI arrest made by Gabe Donio G azette S taFF W riter HaMMONtON—Police made a driving while under the influ- ence of alcohol (DWi) arrest on September 8 at the intersection of S. egg Harbor road and Harbor- wood Drive, Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said. Officer Kyle ambrozaitis ob- served a blue 2006 Ford F-150 pickup that was failing to maintain a lane of travel, Friel said. Franklin rodriguez-Madera, 48, of Camden was operating the ve- hicle and was found to have been operating it under the influence of alcohol, Friel said. He was issued the following motor vehicle summonses, Friel said. those summonses were: driving while under the influence, unlicensed driver, reckless driv- ing, careless driving and failure to maintain a lane. rodriguez-Madera was processed and released when sober pending a court appearance in Hammonton Joint Municipal Court, Friel said. ambrozaitis was the arresting officer, Friel said.
