People who are planning to donate to the dog park fund would be best served to do it sometime from august 15 to September 14 so that their donations are maximized, ac- Back to School event Aug. 27 at lake park the Pentecostal assemblies of God Church will host the annual “back to School” community event on Saturday, august 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hammonton Lake Park. the purpose of this event is to provide children of our community with the school supplies needed for the coming school year in addition to a free haircut. included is free lunch, music and crafts for children. Local vendors provide free information to all those that attend. Warrant arrest made by Gabe Donio Gazette StaFF Writer HaMMONtON—a man was arrested on a “take into custody” warrant following an altercation at a laundromat on the White Horse Pike (route 30) at 12:23 p.m. on July 27, Hammonton Police Lt. Kevin Friel said. K-9 Officer robert zbikowski responded to an argument in the laundromat, Friel said. While responding to the call, zbikowski encountered William Scott, 32, of Sicklerville, who had a “take into custody” warrant from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office. Scott was transported to the atlantic County Jail on the warrant, Friel said. there were no charges filed related to the altercation that precipitated the call, Friel said.
