Douglas F. Hatch Sr.
Douglas F. Hatch Sr., 57, of Atco (formerly of Berlin), died on August 4,
2018.
Doug was a beautiful soul who loved his family fiercely. He had 33 years of
marriage and was blessed with three children and three grandchildren with whom
he had an incredible bond. Some would say he was a big kid himself. His sense
of humor and laugh were infectious. Doug had a way of making friends wher-
ever he went and even when battling his own medical issues would still put the
needs of others above his own. He was the definition of strength and resilience.
Doug loved his Philadelphia sports teams and grew up playing baseball and
many other activities. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors the most. He spent
many weekends out on the boat with his father and brothers fishing and crabbing. The boat held
some of his fondest memories. Once he became a pop-pop himself, he kept that tradition and loved
taking his granddaughter to the lake. The water will never be the same without him.
Loving husband and best friend of Dawn M. Hatch (Muccigrosso); devoted father to Jennifer
M. Bill (Hatch), Douglas F. Hatch Jr., and Crystal M. Hatch; father-in-Law of Randy J. Bill; incredible
grandfather to Angelina, Miya, and Aria; beloved son of Egbert Hatch and the late Dolores Hatch
(Muth); step-son of the late Evelyn Hatch (Smith); brother of the late Edward Hatch and the late
Denise Hatch, Dolores Hatch, Michael Hatch, and John Hatch; loved by his step-siblings, many
cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
