Haarde (nee Corl), 54, formerly of Hammonton, died Monday, July 29, 2013, in florida after a six year courageous battle with lung, brain and bone cancer. Lisa was born January 29, 1959, raised in Hammonton and attended Hammonton High School. She lived in the Williamstown/Sicklerville areas before moving to florida in 1991. Lisa made her living bartending and enjoyed socializing with her customers. She was a great homemaker and cook with her specialties being seafood dishes and especially her soups. Lisa loved to party and dance with friends and family. Surviving her are: husband, edwin Haarde; daughter, Jamilee Jack of florida; beloved sisters, Deborah (Corl) Haughey of Hammonton with whom she lived throughout most of her illness, Carolyn Sammons of S.C.; two grandchildren; nieces, Christina (Joe) Patane of Galloway township, Jeanine (Jim) Whittaker of folsom, ronda (Bill) Buford of Ga. Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. He attended St. Joseph School and was a member of the track team. tony served in the United States army during World War ii and went on to work as a clothing cutter for several factories in the area. for 25 years you could see tony safely crossing school children and was honored with the anthony amedio Day. tony was a member of the Hammonton Senior Citizens and an avid Hammonton High School sports fan. Predeceased by: wife, Grace (nee Pagano); parents, thomas and Phyllis amedio; several brothers and sisters. According to town solicitor Brian Howell, the town made an appeal to the state tax court and as a result of the court’s decision, the town will have to do a revaluation by January 1, 2015.
