STOLEN BIKE LEADS TO ARREST

HaMMONtON—a man was
arrested at 7:35 p.m. on July 31
following the alleged theft of a bicycle, Hammonton Police Lt.
Kevin friel said.
aaron Calderon, 20, of Hammonton was found in an intoxicated state, with a bicycle

allegedly stolen from the 500
block of N. Second Street, and
was found at the intersection of
railway and fairview avenues,
where he had fallen off the bicycle, friel said.
Calderon was charged with burglary, theft and disorderly conduct, friel said.
Officer Sean Grasso was the arresting officer, friel said.
He was sent to the atlantic
County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail
set by Hammonton Municipal

being under the influence of a
controlled dangerous substance,
along with motor vehicle charges
including driving while under the
influence, reckless driving, improper parking and driving with a
suspended driver’s license.

was the arresting officer. Vaughn
was released per John’s Law,
pending a court date, friel said.

HaMMONtON—at its July
30 meeting, town council approved several items in reference
to the Lakeview Drive and White
Horse Pike drainage project that
was recently started.
Council approved a project
change order reflecting a project
increase of $2,817.49 which the
town will be responsible for covering. it also approved the final
payment to the contractor in the
amount of $77,735.35 which reflects the aforementioned increase.
Lastly it approved the release of a
project performance bond and the
acceptance of a project performance bond totaling $11,660.31.
