Loretta “ Lorie ” Foster

Loretta “ Lorie ” Foster ( nee Dickinson ), 64 , of Woodstown , N . J . passed away on Wednesday , July 20 , 2022 , after a 17-year battle with Parkinson ’ s disease .
Lorie was raised in Hammonton , N . J . where she attended Hammonton High School . She subsequently earned a bachelor ’ s degree in education from West Chester State College and a master ’ s degree in student personnel services from Glassboro State College . She was a lifelong educator , who worked at Haddon Twp . High School for 32 years before retiring in 2011 . As a teacher , counselor and athletic coach , she positively impacted the lives of so many young adults . While at Haddon Twp ., she coached many sports , most notably men ’ s and women ’ s tennis , affectionally known as “ Sarge ” for her strict but caring approach to coaching . Lorie was a gifted athlete who was inducted into the Hammonton High School Athletic Hall of Fame as a student , the Haddon Twp . Athletic Hall of Fame as a coach and was honored by the N . J . State Coaches Association and N . J . State Interscholastic Athletic Association for her dedication to coaching tennis . Outside of work , Lorie enjoyed traveling with her husband Rich and previously , training for and competing in several marathons , including the New York City Marathon . Lorie is predeceased by her parents , Jack and Marie Dickinson . She is survived by her husband , Rich , who also taught at Haddon Twp . High School for 30 years . She is also survived by siblings , Debbie ( Joe ) Mazzagatti , John ( Karen ) Dickinson , Rich ( Jacki ) Dickinson and Maria ( Scott ) DiBona ; and nieces and nephews , Lisa ( Drew ), Paul ( Lindsay ), Jenny ( Jeff ), John , Kelley ( TJ ), Kimberley , Madalyn , Bryan and Shawn , all of whom looked up to their aunt as a role model who worked hard and “ did what ’ s right .” She is also survived by seven great-nieces and great-nephews .
Funeral services and entombment in Greenmount Cemetery were held on Monday , July 25 , 2022 . In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to the charity of your choice .

Jacqueline “ Jackie ” Gargano

Jacqueline “ Jackie ” Gargano ( nee Errera ), 71 , of Blue Anchor , N . J . passed away suddenly on Friday , July 22 , 2022 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Pt ., N . J .
Jackie was born on June 29 , 1951 in Hammonton , N . J . to Dominic and Edith Errera , both of whom predeceased her . Jackie was raised in Rosedale , N . J . with her sisters , Bobbi ( Rodio ) and Patti ( Caracciolo ) and her brother , Donny ( Errera ). Jackie graduated from Edgewood High School in 1969 and Glassboro State College in 1973 . After graduation , Jackie found her true calling in education and spent four years teaching first grade at Winslow Elementary and 27 years as a speech and language therapist at Winslow Middle School .
While Jackie always loved being a teacher , her family was always the most important part of her life . Whether hosting Christmas Eve dinner with enough food for an army , planning truly epic birthday parties for her children , or spending a weekend with the family at the beach , Jackie was always happiest when surrounded by her entire family . With the arrival of her five grandchildren , Jackie became a tireless nanny / tutor / confidant who cherished spending as much time with them as possible . Being even five minutes late to see them in any activity at any time of day or night was unthinkable . No matter the occasion or event , forever at Jackie ’ s side was her devoted husband , Frank . Inseparable for over 51 years , Frank and Jackie shared a lifetime of love and happiness with their family .
Jackie ’ s courage in the face of unimaginable adversity served as an inspiration for everyone she met . Regardless of what MS threw at her , she always had a smile , a laugh or a few words of wisdom for all of her friends , neighbors and colleagues . The light she brought to the world will be missed by family and friends alike .
Surviving Jackie are her loving husband , Frank Alan Gargano ; her son , Craig and his wife Stacey ; daughter , Kara Wallace and her husband Mark ; her five grandchildren , Jake , Kyle , Kevin , Brooke and Mia ; her sisters , Bobbi ( Butch ) and Patti ( Bill ); her brother , Donny ( Debbie ); and her many adoring nieces and nephews .
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday , July 27 , 2022 from 9:30 a . m . to 11:30 a . m . at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish-St . Joseph Church . A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a . m . A private burial will be held at later date .

The accused , Nicole Curry , 42 , of Philadelphia , stated that she owned the house , holding up paperwork to the camera , Friel said .
At that time , the homeowner advised the subjects that she was calling the police department , and they left the area in a four-door sedan , Friel said .
Officer Matthew Heiser stopped the vehicle and they provided him
HAMMONTON — An erratic driver was charged with driving while under the influence ( DWI ) at 12:26 a . m . on July 23 , Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said .
Friel said the original call about an erratic driver located on S . White Horse Pike and Seventh Street was made to police , Friel said .
Police were dispatched to the area of Egg Harbor Road and Bellevue Avenue in reference to the same erratic driver failing to maintain a lane , Friel said .
Friel said Officer Travis Hoffman observed the accused vehicle traveling westbound on S . Egg Harbor Road in the middle of the with a mortgage document that had been shown through the camera , Friel said . Curry explained to Heiser that she believed that she had recently inherited the property from her deceased grandmother , Friel said . The man who was with her was a contractor who was brought along to make entry to the building and had no idea the subject was not the owner , Friel said .
“ Ms . Curry was found to have outstanding warrants from Pennsylvania and Ohio and was placed under arrest , transported to police headquarters and charged with the
westbound and eastbound lanes .
The vehicle came to a stop at N . Egg Harbor Road and West Orchard Street , Friel said . The driver of the vehicle was Jordan Young , 29 , of Hammonton , Friel said .
Young was found to be operating the vehicle while under the influence and was found to be in possession of five wax folds in his pocket , Friel said . He was placed under arrest , transported to police headquarters for processing and was charged with the following motor vehicle and criminal summonses : possession of controlled dangerous substance heroin , driving while under the influence , careless driving , reckless driving , failing to maintain lane of travel , failing to possess his driver ’ s license , failing to possess the vehicle registration , failure to inspect , driving while license was

Erratic driver charged with DWI

Friel said police were dispatched in reference to a motor vehicle crash . Upon arriving on the scene , Officer Dalton Scola observed that there was one vehicle involved and the vehicle had impacted a telephone pole , Friel
